Center on Deafness

The Center on Deafness provides an array of research and collaborative partnership opportunities related to deafness and disability issues. It focuses on disseminating knowledge and effective practices related to deafness, establishing and maintaining professional networks, and collaborating with academic and service programs.

Center for Enhancing Education in Mathematics and Sciences (CEEMS)

CEEMS serves as the organizational unit for projects related to mathematics and science education and the discovery of new strategies that generate effective STEM education in the PreK–16 arena. It also works to develop proposals to secure external funding for STEM education projects.

Connections for Education Outreach

Connections for Education Outreach provides technical assistance, professional development, and evaluation services to schools in Tennessee. Educational consultants collaborate with school partners to develop sustainable processes for positive management of challenging student behavior. Evaluation specialists provide external review of grant-supported education initiatives within the state.
