The Bailey Graduate School of Education offers multiple graduate-level teacher education programs and pathways to licensure at the master’s level.
All other graduate-level teacher education programs are offered through the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education (TPTE) and offers two master’s levels pathways to licensure:
The Professional Internship (Post-Baccalaureate) concentrations are designed for students who have already obtained a bachelor’s degree and are seeking initial teacher licensure. The Professional Internship (Post-Baccalaureate) programs allow you to concurrently earn a master’s degree while serving as an intern under the supervision of a highly skilled Mentor Teacher in a local school. The Practitioner Concentration (job-embedded) is designed for students who have already completed an undergraduate degree and are seeking initial (Practitioner) licensure in a high-needs area while serving as the instructor of record at a partnership school system or private school. The Practitioner Concentration is offered fully online / distance education only.
